Privacy policy

This is a personal homepage and CV site. I keep data collection narrow and use it to understand whether the site is useful.

Analytics

I use PostHog to understand basic site usage. It is configured in cookieless mode with automatic interaction tracking turned off. PostHog does not set analytics cookies or store analytics identifiers in your browser.

I only track a small set of explicit events, such as opening the CV, clicking the CV download, opening the email menu, and sending the optional presence signal. Analytics events do not include raw names, messages, email addresses, or IP addresses.

Local storage

The site uses local storage for interface behavior: remembering desktop icon positions and enforcing the short cooldown after you send a presence signal. This storage stays in your browser.

I was here

The I was here button is an optional presence signal, not a contact form. If you use it, you can optionally provide a name and short message.

Submitted text is trimmed, length-limited, and sent to me. The endpoint also uses technical request information to prevent abuse. Presence text is not sent as an analytics event property.

CV downloads and external links

CV download events may be counted in analytics. If you follow a link away from this site, the destination service handles that visit under its own privacy terms.
